Ai Xiaoming, a professor at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China, is a feminist literary scholar, documentary filmmaker, and human rights activist. Ai Xiaoming has used video to highlight social issues such as women's rights and the rise of HIV/AIDS in rural China. She produced, directed, and worked on several films.
