People have regularly joked that whenever the Chart Show played the indie chart, they would also opt to feature Erasure or Depeche Mode every chance they got. Whilst this happened less frequently than the music press would have you believe, it was nonetheless frustrating and did leave you feeling slightly short-changed whether you liked the band or otherwise.
