My uncle Lloyd and auntie Paula hosted a party at their house. We were told to ‘wear our colours’ so I predictably wore my Arsenal shirt. I wanted to get a Mauritius shirt but I can’t find a place that sells them!! Charlotte refused to wear her Sp*rs shirt, I think she’s a bit embarrassed with them at the moment. As I type, they are rock bottom of the Premiership after 8 games, nobody likes to see that!

What weird weather we’ve had. One day it’s sunny and hot (I went out without a coat, that says alot) the next it’s snowing! I hate snow! Evie on the other hand seems to like it, well, from indoors. We didn’t get the chance to take Evie out in it but the next time it comes around she’ll be there.

The bed seems to be working for Evie. As I’ve said before, we sometimes find her curled up on the floor rather than in her bed but she’s still getting enough sleep. Although I’m not getting as much. Evie woke me up one morning at 3:30am, tapping my leg asking for her dummy. So I had to walk her back to her bedroom and find her dummy in the pitch black. It’s not easy!

How depressing? After just over 2 weeks off work both Charlotte and myself had to go back to work. Can’t say either of us enjoyed that! It was a slap back into reality we were both dreading.
