While I maintain the books are better, etc., etc., I will unashamedly profess my deep addiction to and curiosity of the movie versions of the "Twilight" books. The movies are sweet, sweet, pixie stick, cotton candy, liquid sugar crack for the 13-year-old still buried in my psyche. (The books are just plain good reading.)

Date on Nov. 20? Yes, please.

Maggie sent me this link earlier tonight and I thought this talk was encouraging and funny and convicting all at once. It's definitely worth sharing and totally has elements of truth.

For the single gals out there who may find themselves frustrated by the dating realm, prepare for a large "Amen" at 37:45. It made me laugh, nod emphatically and say, "Get on with it, preacher!" out loud in my living room.

I think my favorite part is the fact that The Brother, SIL and I had so much fun doing something together. I like when we like each other!

The junior students today put on their first hair show -- conceptualized and executed as a team. They found models, including three students who are to begin classes Monday, cut, colored and styled the hair and make up, and directed the production.

They did a fantastic job for their first time, and now have a better idea of what to expect in the future.
