The life of a traveling press secretary
On my new job I travel… in the few weeks that I’ve been with Steve Poizner for Governor I have traveled quite a bit. Being the new media junkie that I am, I feel the need to document everything. My over sized purse looks like I ransacked Radio Shack, with enough of electronics, tripods and [...]
George Strait Is “El Rey” As He Sings In Spanish
George Strait’s new album “Twang” features a very popular tune for any lover of Mexican food or Mexican culture. He sings an entire song in Spanish, the famous Mexican classic “El Rey.”

Personally I love it. He sounds pretty darn good in his rendition of José Alfredo Jiménez’s tune made famous by the king of Mexican [...]
Becoming a California Girl
Soon I will officially  become a California girl. In honor of such an event I think the only appropriate thing to do is play a song, of course it’s from the one and only the Beach Boys.
Yes my phone rings ALOT, most of the time its my parents!
I have a big phone plan. The reason is because clearly I get alot of phone calls. Most of those calls come from one of my parents, family members, extended family members and my  “sisters” from back home.
Not only do I have a big family but I basically have three parents. My mom, my dad [...]

Last week U.S. Congressman Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference spoke at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute’s conference. The Republican leader discussed Honduras, frankly saying: “Let me be clear, this was not a military coup in any sense of the term.”
Here is a video and transcript of his speech. Pence also talked about [...]
Introducing Ted Cruz
Let me introduce you to Ted Cruz, if you haven’t been privileged to met him already. Currently Ted is the only Republican running for Texas Attorney General. He has already raised $1 million since February 2009.  National Review recently did a profile on him : http://www.tedcruz.org/pdf/cruz_profile.pdf
Cruz is in an inspiration for others. While Texas is [...]

Obama Too Good to Meet with Cuban Freedom Fighters
It gives me great sadness when the President of the “Free World” can not make time to greet people who are struggling for freedom. Even the Washington Post asks:
Why doesn’t President Obama have time for Cuba’s pro-democracy opposition?
The President couldn’t meet with representatives for the National Endowment for Democracy’s 2009 Democracy Award recipients Jorge [...]
Immigration… a never ending circle
Immigration is always a hot issue. This is an old video from 2006 but I still think its funny… thoughts…

Please take note of the “Yes We Can” banner. This video is from 2006. For those who don’t know, Obama and his people weren’t so orignal that they created the popular saying. It was ripped of [...]
My name is Marco Rubio. You tried to kill my candidacy, prepare to die….
Republican candidate for for U.S. Senate, Marco Rubio, is challenging his top rival, Florida Governor Charlie Crist, to a series of duals debates across the state of Florida. The 10 debates would cover all of Florida’s 11 media markets.
According to the Tallahassee Democrat Rubio wrote a letter to Crist proposing the challenge. It stated:

G-Lo with Obama Late Night
Yesterday comedian George Lopez was on The View promoting his new projects. He shows a skit he did with Obama (I think before his November election victory. I may not agree with him politically but i do agree on his statements on the President, he spends money he doesn’t have and bails EVERYONE out. (Tap [...]
That Latin Beat: Hips Don’t Lie
I love music. Certain songs transport me back in time. As a kid my dad would bring me music popular in his hometown in Mexico. It was great. I would run around the house lip-syncing the songs and it really helped me connect with my cousins in Mexico. In honor of them I decided to [...]
Dems on an escalator
thought this was amusing, and correct…
This is communism: “Murder by Numbers”
Cuba has been in the news a lot lately. Two Americans were caught spying for the communist dictatorship. Reports say the couple  glorified fidel castro and romanticized the 1959 communist revolution in Cuba.
People tend to forget the grim reality of Cuba. The castros have absolute power and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Those who want to [...]

Its always interesting to see what videos go viral, as in gain a huge buzz on the Internet.

The Great Cuba Debate
Yesterday on CNN Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R) debated Rep. Charles Rangel (D) on Cuba Policy. I don’t think much more needs to be said. Rep. Ros-Lehtinen did great in this two part debate.

The second debate focuses on the what Rangel and Ros-Lehtinen agree on in regards to Cuban policy.
Warning, apparently the staffer responsible for [...]
