Grhymey – Who’s That?
On a happier note, I was watching this again the other day and thought I should post it.
Grhymey is one of the boys from north london (where I spent my teen years).  2009 has been a great year so far and sees the launch of his new single Who’s That.
The music for this track was [...]
We are men!
Sorry I’ve not posted much been in Nottingham visiting friends. Not so sure I’m moving there now though as am waiting to here from a better job in London.
I don’t have time to post much now but will leave you guys with this

“What Teachers Make,” by Taylor Mali (poem)
This was the first poem I heard by Taylor Mali and it catapulted him instantly into my top poets list. I couldn’t help coming away from this feeling like I should become a teacher. Or at the very least I should train for it so it’d be an option later in life when I feel [...]
Benjamin Zephaniah – Touch (poem)
With 80% of the world being oral rather then literacy based I kinda felt I should be putting some poems on here that can be listened to or seen. So here is one of my favorite poets (no doubt at some point I’ll explain why). Lots more to come, just got to find the right [...]
Spin (short film)
At a running length of 8 mins 15 seconds this is a great short sci-fi film by Jamin Winans. This film employs smart effects and clever editing to take it’s viewer through a journey of causality. As a DJ tries to prevent events from transpiring further knock on effects bring tragic result for the near by public. It’s only when a the right beat is found that things can run smoothly, or so he thinks.
This film has won over 40 film festival awards worldwide.
Lovefield (short film)
Lovefield is a 5 min 29 second film by Mathieu Ratthe
This film offers us some familiar images from the horror genre and plays with the stereotypes we have come accept.  Although this film isn’t ground breaking and not one you’ll be speaking about for days to come it is worth just over 5 minutes if only for the pleasure of seeing these classic images in a sharp modern video format.
Strangers (short film)
Beautifully crafted short film and a great example of a simple story speaking a 1000 words.
The subject of racism is universal and a simple concept to understand yet this 7 min 11 second film manages to stay entertaining and eye catching throughout. Offering a gentle twist which is bound to be thought provoking and a conversation starter.
HUNGU (Entire Film)
Simple yet beautiful work that everyone can understand. It's only 9mins 11 seconds so please have a watch
"My Space" Shannon Matesky
Ok I have a number of myspace accounts and a facebook but still this is a great poem. Check it out!
