Teenage blues band Bleu Rascals from the Philippines emerged as one of the surprise sensations at the International Blues Challenge 2012 in Memphis. In September 2010, 16-year-old Paul Marney Leobrera was invited onstage by a skeptical Open Mic host to sit in "for one song." Everyone was so impressed by his expressive and effortless blues guitar that he remained onstage all night.
