This is one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time. And it is the Gods honest truth.

I just got done watching this special on Dateline NBC. The special was focus on what are the causes of Autism. The usual suspects came up vaccines, genetics, and environmental causes. The extremely encouraging news I took away from this special was, doctors feel a major breakthrough is very close on the horizon. Doctors are now starting to pay close attention to Autism.

I was never a big fan of Survivor the reality TV show but to see a version of this played out in a kindergarten class for real is appalling. I am encouraged to see stories like this. There are so many adults that have autism that have been ignored, misdiagnosed, or simply forgotten. Twenty years ago there was no focus on Autism and the young kids of that generation were not treated. And without early intervention autism spreads like a wild fire. Click here for the full story.

I have to give kudos to the New Jersey Government. When you hear the stories that the parents share about mortgaging their houses, going into credit card debt, etc. to just pay for therapies that have been proven to help children with Autism.
