Ok, does anybody else see the hypocrisy in this? Or, is it just me and my 'bro.  This deal is so bad on so many levels.  Here are just two.  The first is that America always claims or implicitly implies that our view of the world is correct.  That we are morally superior to the conduct of other cultures.  Secondly, what was reported in this story is the fact that there are more private contractors in Afghanistan than there are soldiers! Ok, right wingers explain again to me how the free market is the greatest thing since sliced bread? So,

Before I get started here, let me first say that I truly admired Senator Kennedy and for that matter the Kennedy family.  So, don't anyone get this twisted...

But, I'm Just Sayin...

Did anybody else think it a little strange that for a family that has fought hard for civil rights and the acknowledged last "Liberal Lion" of the senate that most of the blacks in attendance were there to provide entertainment?  Or, carry an umberella for Senator McCain.  Don't believe me check out a clip from the wake below:

I feel kinda bad for pointing this out, but look this is the Dome and we drop science here even if it hurts a little.  The point here is that White Liberalism is in essence founded upon the emotions of white folks who have a heart and are moved by white guilt.  Which, in reality is what seperates them from the right wingers who harbor no shame on any sense of guilt for anything.  (Ok, I'll stop because I got plenty of blog space to blast right wingers).

Anyways I responded to a fine piece in the OPED News about white guilt.  The article is long, but it is good. So is my response..yeah long and good..

My Response to Article is below:
This was a very well written and interesting article that shed light on the very complicated issue of race and its ramifications in our society.  It is true people are racists and whites do share a certain privilege in our society.  But, sometimes I think we can get to cute with our definitions of behaviors and viewpoints.
 
The real issue of why white liberals generally give right wingers a free pass on their intolerant ramblings can be explained by four factors of what I call divrsity2.0.  These factors have more to do with innate human tendencies and the system of rules that emerge from this interaction rather than the default position of race.
 
The four factors are what I call the blink, Wink, Link,
