T-Shirt Goodies At Goodie Two Sleeves
Goodie Two Sleeves are certainly starting to make waves over this side of the Atlantic, their range of funny t-shirts may be a familiar sight over in the States but this very well established brand are starting to go down a storm in Britain. Established around 7 years ago they've finally decided to crack the [...]

What A Card - New Funny Tees At Busted
Got a friendly little email from Diana Chang at the snarky ecard site Someecards.com - and wouldn't you know it they've started selling their designs as tees - makes sense to me. Anyway here's where you'll find their tees - http://www.bustedtees.com/someecards. Yep they're at Busted Tees which is quite a coup, I guarantee that many [...]
Trippin’ Through Time With Homage T-Shirts
There's retro and then there's retro. We've reviewed plenty of "themed" retro t-shirt labels before, sometimes movies-orientated sometimes music, but Homage Clothing take it to all the way, to the bridge and back again, and then some. If you're hooked on the past you're not alone, retro and vintage styles are a mainstay of the [...]

Fontastic T-Shirts at Type Tees?
Threadless.com have spread their wings, expanded their empire, and generally made their next play for dominion over the t-shirt market with their latest venture TypeTees.com (along side The Select Series and Threadless Kids - yes yes I will get around to them one day). I have to admit I've been holding back on this review, [...]
Do You Like The Taste Of Cotton? Cottonmouth.nl
Here’s a fascinating new label for the girls, a Netherlands fashion company called Cottonmouth have just released their first three limited edition t-shirts at their very very snazzy site Cottonmouth.nl. Founded by the original designers for another very popular Dutch tee label Sjeurt, they have expanded their horizons and ventured forth into the world of high female fashion, producing the best of the best quality tees for a discerningly artistic female market. Right now they have just three women’s t-shirts on offer but they’re well worth checking out, if only as a pointer for things to come. Expect stylish art shirts with an irreverent attitude to life, culture and style on the street. The store is available in Dutch and English and offers sweatshop free fashions (manufactured in USA and design, silkscreen printed tees and labels in the Netherlands), and all their orders are shipped in bio and recycled packaging, which is good to know.
Their first collection is entitled ‘MADemoiselle‘ and was inspired by the god of Pop Art Andy Warhol, yes I am a Warholian, a devotee of Andy’s work, (if you love Pop or Graffiti art, or any kind of contemporary graphic design you just can’t help it ;). Using portraits of women and girls of different decades on girly shirts Cottonmouth’s MADemoiselle them includes a scorcher of a tee, I love their take on Double Dutch - superbly designed and printed on a long comfortable T-shirt that features a stylish deeper plunged neck. Their experimentation with colours and cuts extends to Kiss me Cottonmouth, a tunic-dress that also doubles as a shirt and Fabulous Cottonmouth - a stylish long sleeved tee. All of their shirts are limited to just 20 pieces so if you’re female and want to wow your friends and acquaintances or just a stranger or two on the street I’d advice you rush over there now!
You can either order a tee at www.cottonmouth.nl or visit their store ‘KiBoCo’ in Bussum, the Netherlands. Whilst you’re at th
Justin Hustlin Takes To The Small Screen!
It’s seems like everyone in the t-shirt business is getting into video these days and the famed Justin Hustlin street wear label is certainly no exception, in fact they’ve gone one step further and actually created their own animated series! Yes Hustlin TV is officially here!
Incorporating famous Hustlin characters from their label the ‘Bakery Boys’ show (and most importantly Hustlin TV) will be featured at their very own animated video blog. It’s set in Hustlin’s Bakery and features two of the bakery’s top employees Dirty Dre & Shacky Sweet Tooth. These boys are in charge of over seeing the rise in all Doe made at the Bakery and were hired by none other than Head chef Doughboy including special guest appearances on the show from other characters in the gang all desperate to get their hands on the most filthy-rich treats in town.
The Bakery Boys Show is the perfect way to keep up to date with everything Justin Hustlin, news, events, exclusive web only designs, competitions and of course each new Justin Hustlin series as they become available.
A pilot episode will be airing on-line at Hustlin TV in just over a month’s time. The concept was even picked up by the top production agency Nun With A Gun productions. The cartoon is based on a central character ‘Justin Hustlin’ and his life growing up as an aspiring teen, on Paper Lane in Brookheath Estate. His environment is that of a typical deprived urban neighbourhood in London, with some very interesting characters thrown into the mix!
Justin’s number one priority is making money and moving up in the world, aspiring to be like his idol and role model Richard Branson of whom he has a big poster of in his bedroom. But this is no ordinary poster, it has a very special quality. When Justin’s alone, the poster turns mentor and speaks. Mr Branson a.k.a Ritchie B offers young Justin advice and nuggets of wisdom on building his own Justin Hustlin empire.
Justin has big dreams of becoming a successful ent

Fat Gold Are No Fools
All that glisters isn’t gold, and Fat Gold Clothing are certainly not as precious about ideology or concept as some t-shirt labels out there, but there’s definitely one thing you can expect from FGI and that’s attitude by the bucketful - and by that I mean this ‘their tees are so in your face you’d need surgery to remove them’.
The site is sharp, slick and well organised** yet leaves you unprepared for the raucous behaviour in textile printed form that awaits you. They do a very nice sideline in badges which feature all their mad, bad and dangerous to know creations, and a blog that’s well worth a lookie, I particularly enjoyed their features on a midi controller that looks something like an old Midway arcade game and a fab video of Only by Nine Inch Nails, as well as (of course) a little background info on all their designs. The truth is Fat Gold is more of an attitude than a brand, a mentality than a brand, you’ll either be into it or not.
There’s one particular t-shirt at FGI I absolutely love, Fat Gold Skull (I’ll show you it in a minute), it sums up everything about the label for me, scary and funny at the same time, reassuringly anarchic, totally off the wall but grounded in a great deal of common sense. They spoof where they have to but this isn’t a “funny t-shirt” brand, this isn’t a trendy for the sake of being trendy company, Fat Gold follow their own sense of style (and do very well by it), I’d love to see a lot more tees in the future from these guys, and I do hope they don’t make the mistake of being a slave to “Seasons” like some of their competitors like to do, the fact is “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”.
I don’t want to see their best work disappear for the fear of keeping everything fresh, sure add more designs (the more the better) but don’t lose the old favourites. (This last opinion applies to almost all the up ‘n’ coming labels...

DesignersBlock T-Shirts at Top Shop
If you haven’t heard of DesignersBlock before then you’re missing out. They’ve recently moved to a new 10,000 square foot HQ at 1 The Piazza, Covent Garden, London.
Just recently they co-launched a collection of art shirts with the high street fashion chain TopShop and unsurprisingly DB have made no compromises in style when it comes to entering the mainstream.
They also marked the event by creating an art installation at TopShop’s flagship Oxford Circus and Manchester Arndale stores, check out the
ShirtSeek.com - Redressing The Balance
Paul Grzymkowski has poured his heart into the creation of ShirtSeek.com and I must admit that his Email pulled a few heartstrings too, reading the all too familiar story of yet another net visionary stumbling at the first hurdle. I’m hoping I can pull something inspirational out of the proverbial hat to recharge this guy’s batteries, but I have a feeling this review is going to be a long hard slog.
It’s true we have similar services out there, there’s Rumplo.com for instance, a very popular t-shirt
Labor Day Sale at 1AEON T-Shirts
I found this guy at IndieRepublic.com - you can see his store at Etsy.com - the place for handmade fashion - make sure to check out all the handmade t-shirt designers there. However rather than a quick shout I’d thought you might like to know a little more about 1AEON - he’s a fascinating guy with a surreal taste for t-shirt design.
Gabe Molnar of 1AEON says his designs often come from his dreams. The fantastical imagery includes lions, dragons, skulls and owls (”since before all the owl hype,” as G
