Canadian Roller News #418
Collin White, Kyle Godden, and Steve Kiley decided to skate Mississauga's Iceland skatpark on their lunch time. What results was tons of strange tricks, good times, and even some laughter, and who does not like laughter.
The Dyna Team Video Online
The video features skating from Erick Garcia, Jeremy Jiminez, Nick Riggle, Pat Lennen, Champion Baumstimler, Jon Julio, Andy Kruse, and Brandon Smith. And I am not going to lie, it is amazing. You can thank Shannon Joy Rodgers for uploading the video onto Vimeo! I originally got this from the Be-Mag message board, you can see the original post HERE.

"Blood, Pride & True" J.C. Rowe & Montage on Vimeo

The Integrated distribution blog just put up JC Rowe's section, as well as the montage, to "Blood, Pride and True." So in total you get around 5 minutes of amazing footage that is well edited. JC Skating is fantastic, and the montage is equally as good, so it is a win, win situation. If you want to see the original post go HERE.

Fredrik Andersson on Jeff Howard Undercover Wheels
This is an edit of Fredrik Andersson skating a box, showing off the new Jeff Howard Undercover wheels. All though the edit is short, Fredrik is able to put together a lot of great tricks. The video was edit by Igor Jovanovic. Lastly, this was originally posted on the Conference website.
Shawn Martin on NBC News
This was a segment on NBC News Philadelphia, and it features Shawn Martin, who took home competitor of the year at the AIL championships. The segment paints rolling in a positive light, which, could possibly attract parents and children to the sport. What I particularly liked is when one of the hosts stated "aggressive inline skating is a growing sport all across the country..." Recognition in this form of media, when presented correctly, is nothing but beneficial, so this is definitely something good to se
Derek Henderson Turns Pro at AIL
Taken directly from the Intuition skate shop blog

Derek competed in the 16 & Up Advanced category at the AIL 2008 Championships. This category had 60 rollerbladers who had previously qualified at other AIL contests throughout the year, so the stakes were high. The top 10 turned pro, and were invited to compete in the AIL $5,000 Pro Contest on Sunday. Derek took 10th place, and the next day skated his way into the wild card round in the AIL Pro Contest.

But after his impressive 10th place finish and turnin

Help J.C Rowe Become Xsjado Pro...and Watch a good edit in the process

Integrated distribution has made a plea that J.C Rowe should become a Xsjado pro for 2009, and I am going to have to say I completely back them on this statement. The latest post on the Integrated Distribution blog has to do with you, the reader, leaving comments on whether you believe J.C Rowe should be pro for Xsjado or not. I personally believe that he should be, but that is just one opinion, you can voice your opinion about the matter HERE. And for your reward, you get to watch this awesome J.C Rowe

Russell Day as Esco Skatepark Edit
This is an edit of Russell Day, who is a rider for the SDSF skateshop. I found Russell's style flawless in this edit, with seemless flow between switch-ups, plus I really enjoyed the music he used. I enjoyed it, I hope you do as well.
Alchemy Skates Press Release and Sam Tuffnell Edit
Recently the Kingdom magazine website posted up a press release by Alchemy skates that addressed all the concerns around the internet. Although the press release does a good job at getting the point across that Alchemy is here to stay and is actually a company backed by some great riders, I still felt that the swearing in the initial paragraph took away from the professionalism of the written work. Although, that is just my opinion. Below is the statement issued by Alchemy skates

Tom Schalau Profile
The title pretty much sums up this article perfectly. However, you may be asking youself, who is Tom Schalau, and my response would have to be, a great roller coming out of Germany. This edit just shows you some of Tom's great tricks on all sorts of street obstacles. I originally found this edit on the Rise magazine website, so if you want to see the original post go HERE.
Mühlhausen Spring '08 Edit
Do not really have much information on this edit, but the skating featured in it is very good, and I like the overall feel of the park edit. If you want to see the original post go to the Rize magazine website HERE.

Collin White's "All by Myself" Edit

Collin recently sent me an e-mail telling me he put up an edit that features him skating mississauga's Iceland skatepark all by his lonesome. What really makes this edit entertaining, aside from the good editing, is that Collin seems to hit the park in a way many rollers wouldn't, lots of toe rolls, and obscure tricks make this edit really fun to watch! Keep up the good work Collin.
Taia - Rollerblading girl Edit
Yea, Taia is good...watch and see.
