ALS Society of Canada: Head and Shoulders
So recently, I received in the mail a brochure for the ALS Foundation and their upcoming events because I participated in a walk last year down in Florida. If you don't know much about it, ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. It's a motor neuron disease that shuts the body down starting with muscles in arms & legs, to losing speech abilities, and eventually leads to death throughout a course of generally 3-5 years.
