Students from the Jefferson County Open School in Colorado take a trip to the border to learn more about the controversial immigration issue. When the trip returned, they set up a display at the school showcasing some of the objects that they found in the desert. Student Colin Andrews reports on the objects in the display and what stories they might tell.

Colorado and Georgia will be putting legislation on the ballot this election cycle that would legally define personhood, with attendent rights, as beginning at the moment of fertalization. Other States have had similar measures on the ballot recently, many authored by the Thomas Moore Law Center (Colorado's initiative wasn't written by the Law Center, but the language was approved by them). I spoke to a deputy director of Colorado NARAL Pro-Choice and to the spokeswoman for Colorado for Equal Rights, the organization sponsoring the initiative.
