The art08 awards ceremony, hosted by comedian and writer Dave Spikey, was the region's fifth annual cultural celebration of the arts, organised by the Arts Council England, North West in partnership with the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA). The event saw a number of the region's best artistic talent recognised for their excellent and innovative work in five set awards categories: Unsung Heroes, Putting the North West on the Map, Creative Sparks, Inside Outside Online and Individual Artist. This video was filmed and produced by LetsGoGlobal.tv for Arts Council England, North West.

Young people aged 15-18 from across Manchester worked with artist Paul Needham to create a new interpretation for the gallery.
Their new interpretation consists of a dramatic sound installation in the gallery, created at Futureworks Media School. This film - produced by Let's Go Global - documents the project.
