Rush Limbaugh went on a tear today comparing proponents of the health care reform bill to Islamic terrorists. It started earlier when he stated that Democrats are political suicide bombers. Of course the drugged up radio host couldn't just stop there. Limbaugh talked about how "radically left" the Democratic party is today. He believes when health care reform passes the Government will have control over every aspect of the American peoples' lives. Limbaugh believes that the Democrats in Washington look at average Americans and the Constitution with contempt.

Colbert appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night and discussed President Obama and his trip to Iraq. When the Colbert Report traveled to the middle east to perform for the troops, one of the skits that was performed involved Colbert getting his head shaved via an order from the President. Jon Stewart decided to be a little different with Thanksgiving around the corner and found several things not to be thankful for. He started off discussing how the Silverdome in Detroit was recently sold. When the dome was built it cost $57 million but somehow Detroit managed to sell the arena for only $583,000 at an auction. Stewart explains the Silverdome was purchased for less than a one bedroom apartment costs in Manhattan.
Goldman Sachs was the next target on the list who recently apologized to the American people for participating in things that were clearly wrong. They then decided to invest $500 million in small businesses. According to Stewart:

Bernie Goldberg got a chance to respond to Jon Stewart last night after the Daily Show host shared some choice words with him. On Wednesday night, Stewart played a clip of Goldberg stating:
"[Palin] has five kids, Liberals don't have five kids. One of them has down syndrome. Liberals certainly don't allow that to happen."
Stewart responded to Goldberg making this claim by telling him to "go fuck [himself]".

Sarah Palin is literally all that is wrong in America. She makes a big name for herself with no knowledge, a pretty face and an excuse for everything. She gets so damn upset when people "target her", but makes the same mistakes over and over. Even when she is being interviewed by her chipmunk Reagan counterpart.
This time around Hannity interviewed Palin and asked a question about how we can prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Minus pronouncing Ahmadinejad's name correctly, the former Governor confused Iraq with Iran twice in her response.

Haley Barbour, the Governor of Mississippi, was a guest on Hardball today and asked a very simple question.
Matthews: "Is [Sarah Palin] qualified to be president?"
Barbour: "Well, uh, Constitutionally she sure is. Uh, I will tell you now Chris, she is a lot brighter than she gets credit for."

Matthews continued pushing Barbour for an answer as to whether or not he feels Palin is is qualified but he basically got nowhere. The Mississippi Governor simply danced around and simply stated he isn't sure what would disqualify her from the role.

Of course the video they actually displayed was Palin giving speeches during the 2008 presidential campaign. Palin was all over the news this week with the release of her new book "Going Rogue". Colbert decided to jump in the action and give his thoughts towards Palin and her new book. In "The Word" segment titled "Grand Old Pity Party", Colbert discussed how Palin should be the leader of American and how nothing that happens is ever this countries fault.

Jon Stewart interviewed Lou Dobbs tonight regarding his departure from CNN. Stewart started it off with a Mexican Mariachi band in true Daily Show style. The Daily Show host asked Dobbs why he left CNN and whose decision it was to part ways. He admitted in so many ways that it was CNN's choice because they want to move towards "middle of the road journalism".
The meat of the interview really began when Stewart began firing back at Dobbs. This started when Stewart called out the ex-CNN host for the fearmongering that began once Obama took office. Glenn Beck heard about a law in the New York that would mandate employers to offer sick days to their employees. This of course would kill small business in Beck's mind as this would cost these companies money. Colbert had another installment of "Better Know a District" last night. This is probably the best segment that is featured on the Colbert Report, and this time around was no different. Colbert was covering the 12th district in California where Congresswoman Jackie Speier resides. Most of the interview talked about gay rights, but of course Colbert took it in very different directions at times. From Pez dispensers to acting like a 14 year old, Colbert really knows how to make his guests comfortable.

Hannity is a huge fan of Sarah Palin. That was pretty evident when he actually stated that he loves the former Governor. So, when Palin announced she had a book coming out, Hannity was more than happy to have her on the show. In fact, I believe she is on for the entirety of Hannity's program tomorrow. I think they are both a joke so when I happened to see this clip from the show I couldn't help but laugh. When discussing Palin tonight, the bottom of the screen actually stated "Palin Goes Rouge". I am sure there will be hell to pay for whoever made this huge mistake (or joke) on Hannity's America tomorrow.

Rep. John Shadegg made some shocking remarks yesterday on the House floor regarding Mayor Bloomberg's daughter possibly being kidnapped. This was a shock-and-awe statement in response to President Obama putting detainees on trial in New York City. Well, Shadegg was scheduled to have an interview on MSNBC to discuss these remarks but he conveniently had a meeting and was not able to show up. MSNBC offered several different ways for the Arizona Congressman to respond regarding the statement he made but they were unable to get a hold of him.

With the release of Sarah Palin's new book, "Going Rogue", we all knew Letterman could not be far behind with a new Top Ten list on the subject. Well, that was the "Top Ten Surprises in the Sarah Palin Book" was the list that the Late Show came up with. The first five or so were not all the great it took a turn for the better after that. The best one of them all was number 3.

Representative John Shadegg was speaking on the House floor on Monday in regards to the trial of Guantanamo detainees in New York. He took a statement by Mayor Bloomberg that the city was tough and they could handle the trials. Shadegg then asked the following question:
"Well, Mayor, how are you going to feel when it's your daughter that's kidnapped at school by a terrorist?"

Rep. Shadegg utilized the typical Republican fearmongering to illustrate a point that wasn't even close to reality. The Arizona Congressman has no factual basis to make these claims but somehow feels a terrorist kidnapping of Mayor Bloomberg's daughter could somehow advance his political agenda.

Jon Stewart decided to do a segment last night for the children titled "Windowless News Van for Kids". This clip covers different children's toys that have been inducted so far into the National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, NY. Stewart got pissed off when he heard this years list of nominees. They were the big wheel, the Gameboy and the ball. The Daily Show host could not believe the ball was not yet in the Toy Hall of Fame.
