Listen to what Saitoti says in the video. Make your own conclusion about the ongoing Samburu massacre.
Many are shying off from calling the systematic killing of Samburu indigenous people for what it truly is, genocide on its gradual development.
The more we continue to deny reality about Samburu killings, the more the blame will entirely engulf [...]

Running in the wild for Maasai girl child education.
The YouTube clip was sent to the Members of Maa by Leshan. I was very happy to watch and hear the language and melodies of a people as strong and dedicated to their survival as the Maasai. Did you see the mother who sat and perused the book for her children?
Isn’t that scene very common [...]
Stop selling our sisters!
I thought I should share this story from CNN. I know many of y friends who standing against these kind of "human selling"

Many will agree with me that men nowadays refuse to pay for love or a wife!

Although the dowry may have played its significant role in the ancient times, it's agreed by the majority of enlightened society that paying for your love has proved to harm both the merchandised wife, the business families and council of elders and the society at large who are retrogressed by the ancient practice.

Women who are sold in most cases attain very little opportunities to self determination.

If you ask me if paying for women must be legally stopped in Kenya through the formal legal system, then my answer is YES! This should be done with immediate effect. Why? Because we subscribe to the notion that all human beings are created equal!

We must all enjoy our liberties and equal opportunities to self determination! I cannot stand for my personal rights as a man if I cannot defend those of my sister, my mother nieces or aunties!

As a freedom believer, it is my conviction to protect, nurture and crave to stand for freedom and determination for all on equal terms. Stop selling my sisters!  I am not part of that culture!
Enkishui E Maa thanks you for your support!
Wamaasai waandamana dhidi ya KWS 16/09/09

Dear All,

We will like to thank you all the Maa community for the support you showed during yesterday KWS demonstration. We are very delighted by your response and support.

We do show our gratitude to those who called to show their support from here at home(Kenya), Tanzania and abroad, we do appreciate a lot. For those who made to the venue and participated in the peaceful ever demonstration we say thank you and may we always show the same spirit because that is how we can fight our enemies. You can see that together we stand and divided we fall.
To our Tanzania brothers what an amazing support from you. this shows that we are one community despite the boundaries between us and nothing can stop us from bringing together ideas and work together as one people.

We cannot also forget to thank those who did pray for us to make this a success. If you were not able to be there you have a chance today to see this event in your preferred television be it NTV, KTN, KBC...etc. in 7pm and 9pm news.

We do believe that Justice is going to prevail. If it is not the Maa community many game parks and reserves won't have been in existence and for our people to be harassed, tortured and killed in cold blood is very painful.

To our Samburu brothers what happened yesterday was very sad and we stand together at this difficult moment and may God rest their soul in peace.

Regards

Caroline Patita & Leshan Leshao.

Obama Delivers Major Address from Cairo, Egypt
Obama is a master in quoting sources. His speech in Cairo gave him a tantalizing reception.
The President spoke clearly for Israel and Palestine to understand. The world is saviour with Obama in the throne. He was like a bright star in dark sky.
The plan for peace has been made now and what is remaining is to implement it. Obama's speech was very fairly handed between all nations and denominations in conflict.
