I tested some new recording gear with a cover of Jack Johnson's Angel.

I fought tooth and nail to get a Zoom USB audio interface, the s2t with ZFX plug-ins, running on my pc. I also installed Reaper, audio recording software.

I recorded my Larrivee D03 with an MXL 991 condenser mic and vocals with the MXL 990 condenser. No effects and no mixing. Recorded in 24 bit @ 48kHz and rendered down to 16 bit @44.1.

This video is my third attempt at kata Seipai since last fall. I have to say that visits to the chiropractor and losing a bit of weight have helped a lot with my movement. Not too shabby at 45 years of age. :)

Nice ikkyo and variations.

This video reminds me of the old Slip and Slide from when I was a kid. Minus the hill, the ramp, flying through the air and landing in a pool. Incredible.
