Socialized or Collectivized medicine, ensures the profits of BIG PHARMA by using the Government as its guarantour & bagman. The State becomes the collection agent, ensures payment to ensure ALL citizens are captured under the "benevolent" wings of allopathic medicine. Tyranny is imposed under a guise of health & benevolence, but the Corporate motive & motive of the State is profit & control.

The present system of profit oriented medicine, is not concerned about health, but about sickness management & profit therefrom. Allopathic medicine is an adversarial approach to disease which is often in discord with health & human physiology. The major problem with conventional medicine is, if it isn't profitable then current medicine isn't interested. The profit motivation - an ability to patent drugs etc., actually superceeds finding a cure for cancer or heart disease. Billions of dollars in research grants & the development of sophisticated technology, to a large extent, ironically & paradoxically depends upon NOT finding a cure. Indeed, "searching" for a cure, is far more "profitable" than finding one. So, I'm not so sure the profit motivation actually serves the public. To the contrary, the profit motivation compromises human health & progressive scientific innovation.
