While planning a fishing trip to Oregon, avid fly angler and Fishhound President Charles Dohs grew weary of spending hours on the web collecting the critical intelligence needed to make his trip a success. Charles, a busy marketing and advertising executive, needed accurate information in order to make the most of his limited time on the water. His frustration mounted due to the sheer amount of out-of-date and incomplete information available. He took this challenge to his friend and business partner Richard Marks, who commented, "we can solve this problem." In that moment, Fishhound was born!
