Ashton Kutcher Is Excited To Launch Blah Girls At TechCrunch
Good for Techcrunch and the mention. Ashton certainly understands the process of making viral videos and content that stick. Here's hoping his new Blah Girls product his a hit
Ashton Kutcher's Blah Girls
We are not quite convinced with this comedic video, but we'll let you be the judge. Any opinions?
Stupid and Funny Construction Accident
this was obviously staged, and poorly so.
Bill Maher and guests discuss Obama's Marijuana statement
So now online users are all pot smokers?
The Landlord, Will Ferrell
We know the one person who can assume he is always funny is Will Ferrell . This video had over 50 million downloads! You have probably all seen this, but its worth watching again…
Adidas Viral pulls heartstrings
This Adidas advert/viral is touching and subtle. Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi speaking about his growth-hormone problem he experienced as a child. The brand impact is immediate, it tells a story, pulls at our heart strings, and also teaches children about strength and ambition. Well done.
Dove Viral
This Dove video is truly fantastic! Well edited, produced, and the brand message is clear.
Smirnoff Viral, 2008
New England Gangsters Holla! This Smirnoff video is hysterical. Memorable, funny, and obviously Smirnoff.
Wilkinson Viral
This Wilkinson Ad received over 3million views. Its a bit long, but it certainly does the trick! Good brand awareness and message.
Guy Backflips into Jeans
Levis has released a great viral video, inspired by the Ray-Ban sunglass flip. Reaching 2.4 million views in only its first week.
Mentos Viral
Ah, the power of consumer engagement! This viral was not produced by Mentos or Carlsberg but rather by a user spoofing the success of the previous Mentos explosion ad. A fantastic way for brands to engage with their consumers is by asking them to produce a viral ad. Tap into the wealth of creativity the digital world has to offer…
EA Sports Viral
EA Sports does it again with the Tiger Woods video - after a video game player noticed a glitched in the system, Tiger Woods responds confirming that he is, indeed, GOD.
NIKE viral ad
Here’s another soccer inspired viral ad, directed by Guy Ritche.
Grand Central Station Improv
We enjoyed this stunt by the Public Performance Group Improv Everywhere. 200 people simultaneously freezed in place in Grand Central Station, creating chaos and confusing everyone else passing by. The clip garnered over 14.5 million views this year, and we can see why!
FIFA high energy viral
EA Sports promoted FIFA Street 3 with this high energy viral video - The video was produced in Brazil, with street jumping, exceptional soccer stunts and more. This is a prime example of how brands can produce truly innovative and entertaining programming, while getting their brand message across in an unobtrusive way.
Budweiser Boys Strike Again!
2008 Year in Review, JibJab
In January JibJab released their Year in Review Video, which is as usual very amusing.
Fake Viral Videos
ReadWriteWeb writes an interesting article this week about Fake Viral videos. Sarah asks “When you find out that a video is a hoax put out by a marketing agency, are you turned off? Does your perception of the product change too? Or is half the fun trying to spot the real videos from the fakes”. See one of the “hoax videos” embedded below. We find it quite annoying (all the “yeah” and “uhms” are distracting) but it seemed to have been a successful mensware campaign nevertheless.
The New Cadbury Viral
what do you think?
Doritos Superbowl Commercial
The Doritos online contest awarded the prize to two brothers from Batesville, IN., who created a commercial about throwing a crystal ball into a snack machine which gives everyone in the office free Doritos; and then a second throw, with a promotion in mind, hitting the company’s Executive “unfavorably,” giving us at home a laugh, but no promotion. To Joe and Dave Herbert, the brothers responsible for this $2,000 production: Job well done.
