Well I am heading off tomorrow for 12 days in Mother Russia! I am really excited to go and see what God has for us. I pray that I am going with eyes wide open, with my mouth shut, and with a willingness to step outside of my ordinary responses and understandings of my life and this world. The venture into being a soccer family has been really humorous. Sophie had her first game today and it was definitely worth the price of admission. You have to love sporting events where a snack and juice box are the highlights. At the end of the game there was of course the spirit tunnel. We need to create a liturgical spirit tunnel I think.
