I made the decision that it is my turn now to do the things I want. My family was raised and I had put off my writing until I was in my fifties and had the time. Family did not understand the soaring of the spirit and going after your dreams. I knew there were other people who felt like I did and so I tried to associate with positive minded people. My story might be much like yours. I met opposition from my family because they did not understand the new person I had become. They did not understand a soaring spirit or being independent-minded.
