The first trailer is up for a film with a lot of potential. Percy Jackson and Too Many Words is the story of young half-gods who find out their heritage and are thrown headlong into a battle as the monsters and gods of Greek Myths return in modern times. With a phenomenal cast including Pierce Brosnan, Rosario Dawson, and Uma Thurman as Medusa, this is really looking to be a stellar movie.

I've been reading Kick-Ass since the comic first came out, and I have to say that the visuals run pretty accurate. The trailer makes it seem like they are trying to capture the feel of the first few books in the series, and they do a very good job of it. All the characters' costumes feel spot on and really make you imagine a world of just people dressing up. Aaron Johnson as Dave(Kick-Ass), really pulls off the somewhat goofy nature of the character in his costume. My only concern about the film comes mainly from the comic. Without spoiling much, let's just say the the story gets really dark really quick. It's almost difficult to read at times because of the horrible things happening in it. So what people may go to see as this awesome, fun film, could turn into something dark and twisted that the trailer doesn't really impress upon you. Either way I'll be there opening day.

Next new character to hit Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 will by Psylocke. I'm excited for this mainly because she was in the Wii, PS2, and PSP versions of the game. She's always been one of my favorite characters in regards to her powers. The thought of psychic weaponry was always intriguing to me and I actually based a couple of City of Heroes/Champions Online characters on that power set. I'm also liking her more and more in the comics because she's having her sluttiness downplayed in favor of really fleshing out her character more. Quite a nice addition, but I'm hoping she is a bit more unique than just a map over of Deadpool's play style.

A wonderful interview with Fumito Uedo about the story elements and some other details regarding The Last Guardian. These games still remain on my top ten video games every made list and I simply can't wait for this to be released. It's gonna be really emotional I can tell already. Why does the creature always have to look like it's crying tears of blood?! It's a good thing my tear ducts have decayed or I would be bawling at this game.

I'm torn here. I'm really excited at the prospect that they will add more and more characters as DLC for the game, but I hope that they plan to add more missions/levels and such to play them in. Now let's talk about Carnage. This seems like a really random choice what with him being dead and all, but I can see where most people might have missed that since it happened so quickly. I'm sad that they are using generic sound files for him. That scream in the beginning has been in the public domain audio bank since 1932. If you hear a monster or dragon or bird screaming in anything it's this sound file. Also, Since when was Carnage obsessed with eating people? That's generally been Venom's domain. Or at least Mac Gargan Venom who is IN THE GAME ALREADY. Carnage was always focused on killing as many people as possible in as many creative ways as he could. Kudos for him making blades and other such weapons, but bad form on the GIANT HEAD EATING PEOPLE. On the note of extra characters. How about you give me my Juggernaut seeing as I have the game, and the receipt, and the code. It's not my fault that people figured out that you can use any Gamestop receipt ID # to get Juggernaut for free regardless of actually having the game. I don't see why I can't get it because the "Alloted limit" was filled. It's freaking data.
