An In Depth Interview with Raw Kid Dougie
I was lucky enough to snag some time with Dougie, to get the grit on what raw kids really love to eat. Of course, he enjoyed a green smoothie during the interview and he graciously shares some of the ingredients with us. But, I have a feeling he’s saving the recipe for his upcoming e-book.Turns out his faves are the same as many kids — cheese, cookies, and sandwiches. But, as his mommy I know just what those cheeses and other delights are made of. This four year old digs seed cheese, sprouted gluten free breads and cookies made with an almond and sesame seed base.Moms — want to know one of my secret weapons for getting him to love drinking his greens each day — STEVIA! it’s a zero glycemic herbal sweetener that he really likes.
