That good old time religion, gotta love it?  This pastor in this video is appalling, I wonder if his parents were closely related.  The good news is we won’t be running out of stupid, evil people anytime soon.

I received this in an email.
This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn’t have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat!
The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card.

By now you’ve probably seen the video, or at least heard about the Iraqi reporter who hurled shoes at W’s head.  Who hasn’t wanted to throw something at his head at some point?
I noticed he was particularly adept at dodging the shoes ( the most adept I’ve seen him at anything, ever) which makes me think this isn’t the first time he’s had shoes (or other heavy objects) thrown at him, perhaps by his wife or any number of people he’s pissed off.  Maybe growing up his mother regularly threw heavy objects at his head…which could explain a lot.
Not that I wish Bush any ill will (hang on a minute while I choke), but it might have been a good thing had at least one of the shoes hit the target.  The trauma would have caused increased blood flow to the brain, though better late than never, and that might have been a good thing.

Perhaps this could be the new business model for all the bailouts.
