IMC OnAir “1981 began my personal journey as a 17 year old teenager with Indian music… not directly that time as I visited an open air concert of the world music/fusion trio John McLaughlin, Al di Meola and Paco De Lucia… Unconciously I was pulled into this music of Jazz, Flamenco and what I found out later… into Indian Classical music (which on its own is the back bone even for Western Classics and Jazz) by listening to John McLaughlin’s Shakti (with Zakir Hussain and L.
