The president does not have the will and determination to do what's necessary to win it. His heart's not in it, and never has been. The Taliban knows it. Al Qaeda knows it. Our allies know it. And the American people know it.
"Our enemies are now emboldened and our friends are discouraged. We cannot prevail if the American people are not willing to make the sacrifices necessary for an extended effort. The case has not been made to them to justify this effort. The case can only be made by the president. This president is unable or unwilling to make that case," Thompson said.


Anytime a Democrat said anything close to the about Bush then the right went into full “they are siding with the terrorists” meme. Now it’s time for Fred to face that same music. People should start calling into his show and asking him exactly why he is trying to embolden our enemies.

Last week Sean Hannity apologized for using the wrong footage to inflate the number of people that showed up at a tea party in D.C. earlier this month. Well that must be a long time ago to the short-term memory of FOX news, who today decided to use old McCain/Palin campaign footage and use it to say it was the people showing up at one of her book signings.

What can you say? Once a liar, always a liar. Anyone who takes FOX News seriously should seek serious help.

Vote “yes” for final passage of healthcare reform so our veterans know their country will take care of them in sickness as well as health.

So not only was this guy making contacts under Bush’s watch, but Bush’s FBI investigated him.
I would say there is more just in saying that Bush knew of Hassan than Obama. I mean this guy was brought up in the military under Bush’s watch and slipped through under Bush’s “totally awesome” interrogation and investigating techniques. I wonder what Dick Cheney will have to say about this?

On the Ed Show a bit ago, Markos went after chickenhawk Tom Tancredo. When Markos informed Tancredo that he was an actual Veteran and not some chickenhawk who went off and got a deferment during Vietnam, well Tancredo decided to take his ball and go home.
