Pour le 600è anniversaire de la naissance de Jeanne d'Arc, la ville d'Orléans, l'armée et le diocèse d'Orléans ont organisée la remise de l'épée entre les "jeanne" 2011 et 2012 le 6 janvier au soir dans la cathédrale d'Orléans.
