John, Lucia and the boys stayed with us last weekend and we took a trip to the Philly Zoo. We had a great time and loved having them stay with us! Enjoy the pics!
We visited Reading Terminal Market with John and Lucia after the zoo. VERY crowded, but VERY good food! The pork sandwich gives the Philly cheese steak a run for its money!
I took a trip out to Asbury Park, NJ last weekend and walked the old boardwalk. The whole place had an old vintage feel to it and I think the pictures captured that feeling. Enjoy!
We went to Matt and Jackie's to carve pumpkins with them and their kids: Asher, Avalon, Zuko, and May. Nadine and Linda joined us too! We had a nice time and everyone's pumpkins turned out great!
We went to Steyer's Orchard to pick some pumpkins for carving. Marcella's friend Donna joined us, and other than a little rain, it was a nice afternoon. Pumpkin Carving pics coming later tonight. Also, we started decorating for our Halloween party this weekend, so watch for those pics too!
Finally got around to posting the rest of the pictures from Jordan's grad party. We had a wonderful time and were so glad to see everyone, only wish we had more time to visit! I finished summer school this past week and Marcella is done with camp so now just getting ready for the new school year to start. I hope you enjoy the pictures and please feel free to comment or leave us a note- we'd love to hear from you!
Marcella and I went to Bowman's Hill in upper Bucks this past weekend. We discovered the tower this time, but will have to go back because we didn't have any cash to go to the top! I drove Marcella through the wild flower preserve and then we drove around enjoying the countryside. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
I spent yesterday afternoon driving around Upper Bucks and discovered the Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in Washington's Crossing State Park. These are a few pics from the day. I couldn't get a size reference in the shot of the big brown spider, but if you look at your hand, from the tip of your middle finger to the bottom of your palm- that's about how big it was...
Marcella and I spent the afternoon driving around the area. Visited Bristol for the first time- the river front is nice, the rest is rundown. We also drove through Newtown and up into Washington's Crossing, beautiful countryside and BIG homes. For anyone local, we definately reccommend Sweet Pea's on S. Sycamore St. in Newtown.
