Alfresco tie-in in Moodle 2.0
As many of you reading this blog probably know, Moodle 2.0 sees the inclusions of two new API’s that will change how Moodle is used by educators. The first is the Portfolio API being worked on by Penny Leach and her team to allow for third party Portfolio additions and the second is the Repository API.
The Repository API will allow Moodle to pull data in and store information from external repositories. In the Alpha release so far we have seen tie-ins with Flickr to allow for students and teachers to use
Can Moodle change a school? YOU BET!
Recently I discovered the “Human” Blog created by Tomaz Lasic and have very quickly become a fan of his work. He is an avid Moodler who is not just using moodle in his own classroom but also has also demonstrated and proven the tool to many of his collegues as well.
Tomaz is a teacher and ICT coordinator at Belmont City College, a medium-size public school in Perth, Western Australia. As an ICT coordinator he coordinates efforts at the school to use ICT for greater motivation and engagement of staff and
Advanced FLV Filter
For the first time in quite a long while I have finally done a little bit of Moodle development gain. I love working with Moodle code and find it quite easy to manipulate. If you have a little coding skills under your belt I strongly recommend you head to the moodleDocs and start getting your hands dirty. It is surprisingly easy and very rewarding.

Its Moodle-agic!
I don’t know if this just proves I am way to much into Moodle, that I have way to much spare time spent on the net or a combination of both.
Check out this great ad for ‘Good and Plenty‘ licorice lollies from 1959. It’s amazing to think that the Moodle term has been around since then. Is Good and Pleanty going after Martin D for copyright? Lets hope not

Creating a custom Moodle Theme - LIVE!!
Well, this has been a gamble. I don’t even know if I’ll call it successful, but here it is for you all to see
Many ask me how I go about building Moodle themes. They assume it is difficult, time consuming and a realm for experts. Well I am here to say “Poppycock!” to that and give you a brief glimpse into how quick and easy it is with just a little knowledge of CSS and HTML.
Below I have recorded myself developing a theme for a client..the whole shebang, while trying to provide some
