Actor Lary Crews began his film career in Houston TX as the personal assistant to director Robert Altman on the 1970 cult classic, Brewster McCloud. He pursued a decade-long career in regional theater on Florida's west coast and rejoined Altman as his assistant on Nashville, Health and Popeye, Crews was a background actor in 40 feature films shot on the East Coast, including Black Sunday, Body Heat and the James Bond film, Licence to Kill. Crews moved to Los Angeles in 1998 and has acted in feature films and TV while teaching beginning extras the ropes with his blog, BACKGROUND ACTING. In 2009, Lary appeared in the TV shows Hawthorne, The Office, Cold Case, Heroes and Sons of Anarchy and in the feature films, The Hangover and Funny People. He also stars in the short films, A Taste for Danger and The Grandfather Paradox and is featured in Coffee and Cream, The Delivery, The Visitor, and Handy Market.
