Two suicide car bombs exploded in downtown Baghdad Sunday, killing at least 136 people and delivering a powerful blow to the heart of the fragile city’s government in the worst attack of the year, officials said.

At least 770 people have died and 2300 injured as a result of devastating 7.6 magnitude earthquake which struck Indonesia’s Sumatra  island.  The earthquake was followed by a number of aftershocks including two which were of 6.0 magnitude.
The people are trapped under collapsed buildings, schools and houses. The electricity supply has been cut off.  The quake also caused landslides which destroyed houses.
The quake struck at 2:55 pm local time on the southern coast of the main island of Java with a preliminary magnitude of 7.9.  The shocks were felt in ...

This video shows the true face of Indians and their intentions about Pakistan. None of the country needs such kind of extremism. If nuclear bombs are ever used in the region, it won’t be just Pakistan, major part of India and neighboring countries will also be wiped off the earth. Is it not extremism?

The Ottawa Muslims Association (OMA) organized the 4th Annual OMA BBQ  at Vincent Massey Park on July 19, 2009.  The event was a great success!  Over 200 visitors attended the event and  approximately $4,000 in donations were raisedfor the Ottawa Main Mosque. 
 The day was filled with lots of delicious food, fun activities, prizes for the kids, and beautiful weather for all to enjoy alhamdulillah.

July 20th, 1969 was the day when forty years ago, two American astronauts  Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong  set foot on the moon and carved their names in history as first human beings to do so.
All this was made possible due to the  dedication of  thousands of scientists and spending millions of dollars on the Apollo Program.  The result was one of mankind’s most remarkable achievements in the history.

Disguised in army uniforms, terrorists attacked Pakistan Army’s Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The terrorists tried to enter the Army compound in a pickup and when stopped started firing using automatic ammunition.  The exchange of firing between the army and terrorists resulted in killing of 6 army personals and four of the terrorists.
Two terrorists managed to escape but then were spotted and surrounded by law enforcement agencies.  The terrorists are holding some army personals hostage in the building.
