Too busy, April 26, 2009
I'm too busy with projects and preparation for two presentations next week and final exams next three weeks. I still have nothing with a nightmare 15-page research paper of 501, a tough 6 pages of Business Law 518, and a 10-page report of Financial Accounting 510. Everything's gonna be all right! However, I went to a Long Beach pagoda this morning to pray for my pass in 501 - my nightmare class (funny , huh! - a person like me is waiting for passing a class by going to a pagoda!!!). Of course, I just made some prayers for my family and my life, and then went to the beach, and... took some pictures there in spite of the celebrations of Buddha's birthday continuing inside the pagoda!!! Wonderful Sunday with a lot of sunshine, cold wind, and the ocean! Beautiful houses along the street reminded me some photographs I saw somewhere on certain newspaper or website...
I returned the pagoda to enjoy the lunch due to the enthusiastic invitation by a Buddhist nun when I left the pagoda to take pics. It was a long time I didn't taste vegetarian food. Great!
Back home at 1:30 pm. Taking a sleep until 4:30 pm 'cause I woke up too early this morning (7:00 am - I usually start a day at 10:00 pm, and finish it at 3:00 am ! ), of course I couldn't write any words for the paper due next week!
That's fine! Especially I spent half an hour on talking with my grandfather (actually he is my grandmother's younger brother), and 20 minutes with Mr. Javier, a Mexican-American friend who is gonna move to Texas tomorrow. That's really fine 'cause I only have 4 hours left for the nightmare paper before going to sleep!
By the way, I like this clip so much in spite of 4 hours left... . The American Indian guy and the pianist are so emotional!!! Amazing music!
