One thing you will hear over and over again from people at The Pursuit is that we are serious about being good news to others. God blesses Christ-followers to be a blessing. Sunday, we are going to wrap-up our 4-week series on relationships called WITH and we will be looking at the fact that God calls followers of Jesus to come together and stand in contrast to the bad news that is so prevalent around us.

Each of our Community Groups at The Pursuit made short commercials to show at our weekend Celebration Service for the purpose of inviting people who have not yet plugged in to a group. Of course it turned into a healthy competition between Community Groups.

The video that got the most laughter was the Wednesday night CG hosted and led by Paul and Ali Smoot. Here is that video:

Even funnier than the video is that a new couple, Jack and Anita, joined the CG last night and brought a banana cream pie!

We have dozens of people at The Pursuit who are leading as they serve in & outside the church. One of these is my friend, Hugo Zambrano. Every weekend, he sets up our road signs to "help people find their way back to God."

I love that Hugo uses this time to serve together with his oldest son, Stephen.

I am still trying to catch my breath after an unbelievable day at The Pursuit. I am so honored that God has chosen me to lead this church.
