Orion: Third Engineering Development Unit Air Drop Test (No Narration)
Performed on Feb. 29, 2012 at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Grounds, this is the third in a series of the most flight-like parachute tests to date with a representative parachute compartment for the Orion spacecraft. It is the first such test to use a capsule shape representing Orion, known as a Parachute Test Vehicle.Collected in MB productions's videos Apr 9, 2012 -
Orion: Exploration Flight Test-1 Animation
This animation depicts the proposed test flight of the Orion spacecraft in 2014. During the test, which is called Exploration Flight Test-1 (EFT-1), Orion will launch from Cape Canaveral, Fla., perform two orbits, reaching an altitude higher than any achieved by a spacecraft intended for human use since 1973, and then will re-enter and land in the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of the United States. Narration by Jay Estes, Deputy for flight test integration in the Orion program.Collected in MB productions's videos Mar 15, 2012 -
Orion: From Factory to Flight
NASA is making steady progress on building the Orion spacecraft, which will take astronauts deeper into space than ever before. Take a look at the latest achievements and milestones in "Orion: From Factory to Flight" as Orion gets ready for its first orbital test flight in 2014.Collected in MB productions's videos Dec 21, 2011 -

A Look Inside Orion
America will send a new generation of explorers to the moon aboard NASA's Orion crew exploration vehicle. Making its first flights early in the next decade, Orion is part of the Constellation Program to send human explorers back to the moon, and then onward to Mars and other destinations in the solar system. This is a look inside the spacecraft as it continues through the development phase at NASA's Johnson Space Center.Collected in MB productions's videos Oct 6, 2011 -

First Weld Made to New Spacecraft
Construction has begun on the first new NASA orbit-bound, human spacecraft to be built in 20 years. Engineers at the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans have started welding together the first Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle. The craft is scheduled for a test flight in 2013, during which the unmanned vehicle will orbit the Earth several times. NASA's last spacecraft built to orbit humans was space shuttle Endeavour, which was completed in 1991.Collected in MB productions's videos Sep 13, 2011
