Friends from Mt. Vernon gathered at Dave and Nancy Brown's on after the worship gathering on Sunday, January 11, 2009. The Eagles beat the Giants and progressed to the next round of the play-offs. Despite some antagonistic cheering from a couple of desperate naysayers (can you guess who they are?), most of the Mt. Vernon home crowd shared enthusiasm for the game and for the fellowship.

In preparation for a Youth-Sponsored Fellowship Meal & Dessert Auction, the girls and boys met separately on Saturday, December 13 for their first-ever bake-off!

Junior and Senior High youth gathered at Kurt & Judy Strohmaiers' on October 11 for a bonfire, hayride, and apple bobbing.

Women from Mt. Vernon travelled to Cape May, NJ October 17-19, 2008. Besides the great fellowship, delicious food, beautiful scenery, inspiring worship, and relevant teaching--there were also some amazing skits!
