Construction Update
On November 17th Foxboro Cable Access received final approval and permitting to begin build-out at our future home, 28 Central Street. Construction crews have been on-site all week and things are progressing well.

The Cambridge icon, Hugh Morgan Hill know as Brother Blue past away on November 3, 2009 at the age of 88. In tribute to his life we would like to share this video documentary which FCA volunteer Michael Everson helped complete in 2006.

Concert on the Common Season Starts Tonight
 
 
 The Foxboro Jaycees concert on the common series begins tonight with the Foxborough High School Jazz Ensemble. 
Due to the weather forecast for this area, the concert has been moved
to the Foxborough High School Auditorium.  Concert starts at 7:30pm
This is always a very special concert for the Foxboro High School Jazz Band, as it's usually their very last concert of the season. 
Foxboro Cable Access volunteers will be cablecasting this concert LIVE on channel 12 and streaming at www.fcatv.org for those folks who cannot join us at FHS.

Band Bio from the FHS Website:
During the past 23 years, the Foxboro High School Jazz Ensemble established itself as one of the premiere high school jazz bands in New England. The group has received Gold Medals in Massachusetts jazz band festivals for 22 years. Directed by Stephen C. Massey, with the assistant director George Murphy, the group finished first at the University of New Hampshire Jazz Festival for 14 years.
Performing at International Music Festivals in Montreal, Toronto, Washington DC, Williamsburg, Philadelphia, New York, and Virginia Beach the Jazz Ensemble has consistently received Gold medals and first place awards.
In addition to these featured and adjudicated performances, the group has maintained an extremely active performance schedule of 20 - 25 performances per school year. The Jazz Ensemble has recorded 3 record albums and three CD's, and performed for a variety of University and Music Education Seminars.
The Jazz curriculum at FHS includes 2 jazz bands, a jazz choir, 3 jazz combos, and improvisation classes. A week long Summer Jazz Improvisation Workshop is an annual hig
