Toys for Africa!
While on the subject of motorbikes, I’ve decided to balance my last road biking post with something interesting from the other side of the fence, given that Dave is so involved in both aspects of biking. Enduro World magazine constitutes a lot more than the catchy byline “The Best Ride You’ll Ever Read” implies.Collected in Favourite Videos Dec 14, 2011 -

Caution: Africa’s Not For Sissies!
Springtime in Lesotho means that peach trees are blossoming all over the countryside, like a shower of pink powder puffs. You may remember the image above from my post: Exploring Lesotho, the Magical “Mountain Kingdom”.Collected in Favourite Videos Sep 10, 2011 -

SENSATIONAL Soccer - Uruguay vs Ghana
A tiny taste of our SENSATIONAL experience of the quarter-final match between Uruguay and Ghana during the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We were 84017 people at Soccer City, Johannesburg, many of us commuting via Metro Rail. Organization ran like clockwork. As for the atmosphere, it was a mind-blowing mix of inspiration and unity: nation-building at its BEST. Never mind that Africa's hope for a semi-final spot vanished along with Uruguay's victory. Watch this to the end to see true hope in action!Collected in Favourite Videos Jul 4, 2010 -
