Lily Allen delivers with another brilliant music video. She is often called a booze hound and party animal by the media, but I give her props for having insights into her own shortcomings. She has great self-awareness and appears to be capable of reflecting which is more than one can say about most singer/ songwriters in this day and age.

This is the first single and title track off Whitney Houston's new album, being released on Aug. 31st. Definitely going for a broad listening base here. Houston and mentor Clive Davis has repeatedly stated that their goal with the album was to create songs that will become sentimental classics in the heart of the public. The down side to this is that it doesn't look like there's going to be a top 40 smash hit off the album, which exactly what Houston needs in order be recognized for a commercially and ar

This looks like the most interesting documentary since... ever. Think the "real" Devil Wears Prada. Anna Wintour, the intensely private editor in chief at American Vogue, is giving the public an inside look at what really goes on behind the scenes of the country's fashion bible. It is sure to do well, as documentary films go, following the blockbuster success of the 2006 film that made the notoriously villainous fashion mogul a household name.

Colin Powell with some sound logic regarding the media circus surrounding Henry Gates. "You don't argue with a police officer," he says. How refreshing!!! That sounds more like what I expected from Obama in place of the President's "stupid" comment. Like Powell says, there is certainly still racism in America. But in this case, there seems to be more of an attitude problem on behalf of Mr. Gates than a race problem on behalf of the arresting officer.

One of the best!
