A sad realization that many girls out there are struggling with peer pressure and self-esteem issues silently.

A really sweet video on how we're often our own worst enemies but if we'd only learn to see ourselves through the eyes of someone who loves us, we'd realize that we're simply beautiful and special :). Because all of us has somebody out there who loves us for the unique person that we are.

In 2004, Maria Digby won the Pantene Pro Voice Contest with this heartfelt song. It's more than a song - it's her plea for the world to judge beyond "all the things that are mismatched on the surface" and her story on struggling for acceptance growing up as a plump kid of mixed heritage. A beautifully soothing and comforting song that just can't get out of your head and most of all, heart.
