These are difficult times. Economists say we have been in a recession for the past year, but is it wise to tighten our belt and spend less or should we spend and charge to strengthen the economy. I have some things to say on this subject that might help you do what I have been doing.

Cast Iron Skillets are the original non-stick "Teflon" coating. An iron skillet seasoned properly will keep food from sticking, is great for browning and easy to care for. And good cast iron cookware will last a life time. Cast iron skillets have been handed down from generation to generation. Nothing tastes better than food cooked in a dutch oven. The juice from the food flavors the the pot and transfers to the food. It is alternative cooking that you can do indoor or outdoors, with charcoal if you cook outdoors. My husband cooks all the dutch oven food so it gives me a break. I love it, and I love the food.

Part 2 is eating what we made at the cook-out. The food was easy and "Oh so good!" You can toss just about anything from your refregerator into a pot and make it taste great. My husbband does all the dutch oven cooking so I get a break when he cooks. I like that the most.
