Got home earlier from werk exam, i did pretty well because people really got cut from failing it. Others even stayed longer because they have to do another essay test before proceeding to major interviews. I think im ready for the work and the lifestyle and the action. One step closer to becoming a working man. If i get hired then ima love my job. If not, look for more options and there is a hell lot out there.
So i got home and i got really bored, normally i would just take a nap or watch a good flick but this time i just blanked out after refreshing my twitter site several times just to see who tweeted something interesting. Also if Kat's online already so i can bug her. Haha. Came across a lot of Pacman articles and Mayweather articles all saying that both decorated fighters should have a mega fight. The fight should happen, Pacman im sure will have no problems with that because he knows and the whole damn nation knows that he will outclass Gayweather. Of course the pompous ass of Pretty Boy Floyd has been ranting about how has he always been discredited for his fights. Truth is, he's been ducking opponents that he knows he has a difficulty fighting with i.e. Sugar Shane Mosely. Also all he cares about is Money. He said in an interview that if He beats Pacquiao then people will say that it was easy for him to do so because Pacman is smaller. Lots of blabber from Gayweather. Not like Pacman, who obviously does his talking in the ring.
But this Mega Fight will be inevitable, Kevin Iole of yahoo sports explains why.

Im doing good with second strike dealing, my hands are getting more relaxed, my speed is getting a little bit better. I gotta practice more on the thumb action which covers the top end of the deck when executing the deal. Sigh, i really gotta do a lot for the upcoming days. Change change my friend. We will rise once again.
This is an example of a card magic routine that is very well executed. I have not seen many oil and water routines and i kinda get bored with it. Not a big fan, but i know a certain method to do it, which i find crappy so i didnt touch it. But this one is really good, IMO. Smooth and very very fair to the audience. Its really quite baffling too. Basically an Oil and Water routine is a packet trick where you divide it into, say, 3 face cards and 3 number cards then you deal them at the table alternately but they dont seem to get mixed because oil and water dont get mixed eh?
I figured that i got a Derren Brown video tutorial about an oil and water routine. But the virus deleted it. Shucks. I literally got nothing now on this PC. I looking for stuff again. Just practicing. Sigh, i gotta do more with my life. Haha.
I gotta learn how to cook too. Well, i know how to i feel that i just wanna get more experience and education. Kinda like culinary, sigh. Alright. Time to bounce.

TSC Magic Competition Vids.

Its finally here! THE STORY CIRCLE 2nd Annual Magic Competition videos! Ill be posting my top 3 favorites but the all the videos are now at the front page of the TSC website! Coolio!
I consider Sam as my mentor, though he doesn't probably know it but he really helped me a lot it terms of techniques and critiquing my works. He's the go-to guy when it comes to geek magic, bizarre magic and sponge balls and cigarette manipulation. This guy has taught me the techniques of executing the SAW effect properly and easily. Here he is with a cigarette manipulation routine. Cool!
Next video is featuring EL_Magikero or Patrick or Pepe. I like this guy! He really improved a lot in terms of skills, improved way more in terms of showmanship. When he performs, the audience will surely burst into laughter because he brings awesome hilarious antics and awesome magic and comedy. More power dude! This is an MJ routine! Billie Jean + Beat it!
This one is a great closer for the competition. Germain, aka Cardician, surely made the crowd roar in laughter with his portrayal of a transvestite doing magic and Porn CD manipulation. Great Great routine featuring also a his version of Re-Capped and Shape of My Heart. Haha. Enjoy!

Pick and Practice.

I learned a new practice methodology today and i find it interesting and not at all boring. I think it was Trycks who taught this at the TSC forum. So all you need to do is list down all the effects you learned thus far, each in a strip of paper, and then make sort of a raffle. Pick one and then execute that effect complete with patter. In that way you wont get lost on which trick to practice first. Its just random.
Its important also to practice the effects you often perform. So it will be embedded at your muscle memory. Will gain more confidence and your attitude towards that particular effect will be more straightforward. Meaning you can give more magical effect to it performance-wise.
im giving more attention on two things right now, the strike second deal and the gambler vs magician routine which i sorta handle differently. The gambler vs magician routine is a very good effect with great shock value. here it is being performed and pimped by Hayashi.
Im thinking of doing Geek magic again, or sort of bizarre mentalism. That was the path i used to take then i decided to stick to cards again. I did pretty well with some mentalism tricks i perform but i know that there's a lot to it than that.
Sigh. i gotta go out and perform soon. Cant wait for saturday's TSC gathering. Fun times again. I have to settle a lot of things too. better do it soon. Did a long post here too before this but i transferred the content to my other blog. im going to travel the whole day. Away from all the insanity.
