Dead Man's Bones is a music project from incredible actor Ryan Gosling. It combines slightly macabre lyrics and imagery with several different instruments, as well as the utilization of various choirs (including a children's choir) for a clearly lo-fi "old-times" type sound. It's wicked.

A beautiful song detailing a story in Greek mythology of the artisan Daedalus and his son Icarus. Daedalus constructed wings for his son to escape the Island of Crete... this song, performed by Thrice, tells of what happens with beautiful lyrics: "Oh gods! Why is this happening to me? / All I wanted was a new life, for my son to grow up free! Now you took the only thing that meant anything to me / I will never fly again, I'll hang up my wings / Oh god!"

Cassino - very good live. Took a while for there sound check but it was def. worth it.
