Martin Place, Sydney Oct 28, 2009 Trade unionists and concerned members of the broader community held a rally in Sydney's Martin Place on October 28, 2009 to protest draft federal and uniform state laws which will put workers' safety at greater risk. About 7000 workers die in Australian workplaces every year and another 690,000 are injured.
