The Poorly Tempered Piano
A small video cam was placed on the lower strings of a grand piano to sample some of the damped string noise. Reminds me of something that I saw many years ago in Chicago. I was in a small club watching Sun Ra playing with a group of great musicians. Sun Ra's only instrument that evening was a grand piano placed on a very small stage. As the night progressed, Sun Ra's sound was being drowned out by the rest of the band.
