Les trois dolmens de Salza
Three small neolithic/chalcolithic tombs, high in the middle of the Corbieres Hills. Thanks to Joel for finding and sending the GPS spot.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Dec 12, 2011 -
la Pinède, Durban-Corbières
Once again I'm looking for dolmens - reported by Marie Landriq in the 1930's this time. Most of her reported finds never get mentioned again, by any other archaeologist.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Apr 23, 2011 -
Sainte Raphine shrine or La Recaufa at Villeneuve-Corbières
Dolmen-hunting brought me up here - not religious fervour. It was built by the family and friends of a local man, Jose Maria Bosch, who died in WWII.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Apr 10, 2011 -
Pallats dolmen 1
I revisited this site while looking for another, very ruined tomb nearby. The Tramontane was gusting at 80 kph and seemed to be blowing a flock of sheep across the hillside.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Apr 10, 2011 -
Jappeloup passage grave revisited
March 23 2011 The IGN map shows a 'menhir' close to the dolmen. I went looking, and found a stone - une mégalithe imaginaire?Collected in RichardMoux's videos Mar 23, 2011 -
Sur Roque hillfort and dolmen.MOV
Today I found a Bronze Age hillfort, and what looks like a Neolithic dolmen, in the middle of the Corbières Hills, near Montséret. It's obvious that others have been here before me and have effected some searches of the original wall-structure.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Jan 14, 2011 -
La Garrigue dolmen
Unusual in our region for its complete tumulus. This dolmen can actually be seen from the road between La Caunette and La Garrigue - it's a half kilometer before the hamlet, on the right.Collected in RichardMoux's videos Dec 19, 2010 -
Serre Longue dolmen, Mouthoumet
By chance we met Yvan - le président de la chasse de Salza - on the way back from an unsuccessful dolmen-hunt nearby. He'd lost two dogs - we'd lost our dolmen but found someone else's hunting-dog .Collected in RichardMoux's videos Nov 29, 2010
