The latest Medal of Honor debuted for the first time at this year's VGAs, showing a fresh reboot for the franchise as it leaves the WWII setting for the first time in the franchise’s 10-year history. EA's premier First Person Shooter controversially places players in war-torn Afghanistan as a Tier 1 Operator, a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority, who takes on missions no one else can handle. The trailer showed various areas from what seems to be Afghanistan, in what is now confirmed to be real gameplay footage.

Steampunk fans may be disappointed with this next bit of news. Rumors are going around stating that the planned RPG Edge of Twilight for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC has been canceled.
