I created this for a class I taught on using MovieMaker (although this was created with iMovie) in the middles school classroom to create book trailers. This is one of my favorite books, but more importantly, this book is loved by most of my eighth grade students. For some of my Latino students, this is the first introduction to an American author that writes authentically about Latino life in the US.

Neal Shusterman's first Dark Fusion book, Dread Locks, in book trailer form. This was one of my first attempts at using Windows MovieMaker to create a book trailer to model for my eighth grade students. I loved Shusterman's take on the Medusa myth and wanted to create a book trailer that would a) get students interested in reading the book and b) model a product that students would get a chance to create themselves.
