Oktober in Frankfurt/Main wurde ich gebeten, etwas zu den Potenzialen von Enterprise 2.0 zu sagen. Enterprise 2.0 ist als Begriff jetzt drei Jahre alt und wird heute als Thema in vielen Unternehmen diskutiert. In einigen Unternehmen wird damit experimentiert und in anderen hat es schon eine breite Akzeptanz gefunden. Aber noch längst sieht nicht jede Führungskraft ein, dass Enterprise 2.0 entscheidend für den Unternehmenserfolg ist. Daher geht es jetzt darum, den Nutzen nachzuweisen und aufzuzeigen, welche “echten” Probleme man mit Enterprise 2.0 lösen kann.
<br />Ein großes Potenzial liegt in der Chance, betriebliche Anwendungen zu gestalten, die entweder die vorhandenen Lösungen einer “1.0-Welt” systematisch erweiteren oder, die es einem erlauben, “Dinge zu machen”, die man bislang nicht realisieren konnte. Was das sein könnte? Wissensmanagement, Projektarbeit und Projektmanagement, betriebliches Vorschlagswesen und Innovationsmanagement, Kundenintegration und Kundenzufriedenheit, Mitarbeiterbindung – und zufriedenheit, Personalentwicklung, Qualifizierung, Unternehmensplanung und Strategieentwicklung, Change Management, Führung. Die Liste an betrieblichen Anwendungen könnte man sicher noch verlängern. Alleine unser Denken, das noch zu häufig in den Mustern der “1.0-Welt” stattfindet, schränkt die Kreativität (noch) ein.

<p>Bislang stand beim IT-Einsatz in den Unternehmen vor allem die Automation von Transaktionen und die Optimierung von Geschäftsprozessen im Mittelpunkt. Bei Enterprise 2.0 geht es nun vor allem um Kollaboration und Partizipation. Ziel einer erfolgreichen Einführung muss es daher sein, bisher nicht vorhandene Verbindungen im Unternehmen, aber auch mit Kunden und Partnern zu ermöglichen, um „unwahrscheinliche Kommunikation wahrscheinlich“ zu machen und einzelnen Akteuren eine Stimme zu geben. <p>Eine eigene Beobachtung am Rande: Bei “normalen” Veranstaltungen in Vortragssälen haben ca. 3-5% der Teilnehmer einen eigenen Twitter-Account. Bei online Veranstaltungen im Internet, also Webinaren, Webcasts sind es ca. 15-30% der Webinar-Teilnehmer, die einen eigenen Twitter-Account hatten.
