5:00 am That’s right ladies and gentleman. After many months of blogging I’m about to wake up my wife and son to set off to South Padre Island. Of course I hope she falls in love with the place because I really want to move from San Antonio.
I just want to write some random things hope it’s not to confusing, I like to think I have a little reputation of being a bloggers blogger. When I write I’m always writing specifically to bloggers.Today I  had the chance to speak with a really cool guy. Robert is from the great city of Philadelphia and when speaking with him you know he is a real person.
The thing I want you to know that I could avoid the whole challenge of revolutionizing blogging as you know it right now. The reason I’m going to take a quick break at Padre Island is because when I get back I’m going to blow it UP. I have been discouraged by certain facts about blogging and San Antonio but I’m over all that now. It’s time to step forward and get busy. It’s showtime.

Welcome to POTPOLITICS


Blogcatalog is located here in San Antonio Texas. In the year that I have been blogging I was a member for awhile. The site is well known to many. In the time that I have watched it there has been many changes. So on a beautiful sunny day I set out to try and get a chance to ask the owner a few questions. I also thought because blogging is a worldwide phenomenon that bloggers around the world would like to see a ON THE FLY PRODUCTIONS video created on a simple digital camera on the fly NO edits OBviously.

After watching the video I will tell you that I sometimes can see why I’m NOT fit for society, I was a little hyped up and I apologize for the parts where I over talk Oscar.
I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar a few months ago. Many people know I’m not a big fan of MOST of the people in San Antonio but Oscar is the type of guy you could talk with FOREVER. A genuinely cool person and we love cool people here at POTPOLITICS, for sure.
So I really want to keep telling you how cool and nice Oscar is but we will move on. Thanks Oscar for real.
I like the part where I realize that I was wrong about the real purpose of the site. When I was a member I was ready to visit blogs and build a crew of follow bloggers that would look out for each other.
Well many of us know that isn’t really how blogging REALLY IS
But the essence of this post is all positive. I did have some beefs about how I was treated. I didn’t agree with many of their decisions but guess what IT’S NOT MY SITE. I also realized that when it’s all said and done I don’t hate anyone. I also think it’s a good site for bloggers that mainly want to chit chat and learn about blogging.

I wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. I wanted to tell you that I don’t have anything to bitch about I could mention that Time Warner San Antonio customer service is the worse. I could mention that when I call my hosting provider at night I can’t understand the person because their English is terrible but I won’t . I wanted to just say that no matter what happens today I’m going to do my best to be grateful and appreciate the day. I may not do anything special. It may just be another day. But I will do my best to try to be happy no matter what happens.
Last night I was thinking that I may be running out of gas on things to write.  Clarity, discipline, motivation all these words connect back to the thoughts that travel through our mind. As I start the second year of this blog off I wanted to share about some of the blocks I had encountered. 
 People: I’m the first to admit that I let what people think, do or don’t do have way to much power over this blog. I will question whether or not to write this or that. I think fear of success or lack of success pits you right in the middle, the DEAD zone. 
 Anyone who is truly successful believes in what they are doing, they want to succede. 
 In reality the ONLY person holding YOU back is you. Did you know out of the 1200 plus comments on this blog none are negative. In fact 99.9% I would say are actually loving. That’s a pretty cool accomplishment. The only reason I mention it is because it’s exactly something I would overlook and not allow myself to accept it as the positive thing that it is  No I didn’t delete the bad ones SILLY
 Now am I saying turn into some snob jerk like we see all to often ? NO   But there’s been many times I wanted to write about things and didn’t . So instead of looking at how far I have to go. I can look at how far I’ve come.
 I have some really awesome things happening. There only happening because of  all the time and effort I have put into them. Yes I could sit here and feel sorry for myself that I’m not up in Austin with all the people at  #sxsw . I guess I still have a lot of work do to on my people skills. Judging all these people in social media that I come across as Goofs and lamers doesn’t help the cause  BUT we are different what impresses them often doesn’t impress me. The value I put on friendships is definitely different. I don’t go for that HERO worship. I could talk to Bill Gates one minute and a homeless guy the next and that part of me I hope never changes.

So blogging yeah all us poor bloggers . Everyone fighting like a bunch of fish. I have all kinds of baits and they all basically suck. The most powerful asset to any blogger that plans on making it must be his closest friends. Without them your not going to far I don’t care who you are.
People don’t realize being nice pays. In more ways then one. I  mean who wants to feel like a scumbag all day knowing their screwing people, not me ?
SO boys and girls remember your fucking manners and remember the first one is always on me

Welcome if you been coming around here for awhile I know it may seem like I complain about many things,well that may be true. But I wanted to take you on a little bit of a different ride tonight.
For so many years I have been countless different people. I have been around the block as they used to say. As a full time internet marketer , blogger, whatever. I wanted to share about a very touchy and positive experience I’m currently enjoying on Facebook. No not watching all the Guru’s I used the less from, more from to handle that.
But it started a few months ago when a few people that knew me from grade school started talking. We quickly reminisced  about days 30+ plus years ago. When I was young I had some problems that maybe other kids didn’t have to deal with mainly my father was murdered when I was young and I never really knew him. My Mother was a one of a kind and she’s dead now and I’m proud to say that I don’t think mentioning anything negative about her will add to the story so I won’t .(That tells me I have changed some )
Anyway we are all on there having fun shooting the shit like normal middle aged folks I guess. We are coming  up with the idea of having a 30th anniversary up there in New York so we can all be together one more time.
You know what I don’t want to go. I say I do to them but I don’t . Since we have been together I have served over ten years in prison. I hurt countless people for many years. I let people down and I let myself down so many times.

I don’t want to see them because I feel different. I feel while they are looking at me they will wonder why I was so crazy and did so many crimes. I don’t want to go because I will be so happy to see all of them I may not be able to handle it. I don’t have that much to loose but the whole experience may trigger me to hit and stay on the streets of NYC where I sadly knew all to well as a very young boy. I d...

Many months ago I was on a mission and I would scour the internet looking for great sites to write about.
I know it’s difficult when you think you have  seen them all to decide which one has the most to offer. Some people just want to submit their bookmarks and move on. Sites like reddit, digg and  delicious are good for that. I just hit them and I’m gone. That is a mistake because ultimately your only going to get back what you put into it.
Recently I received an email from Kim at Searchles inviting bloggers to sign up (takes 2 seconds ) for their new widget. The widget is on this blog and once you read all about it you will hopefully see all  the benefits. The site has many features and if you like tools for remashing videos like demonstrated in the video I would take some time to check out  the whole site. I was just smiling because I remember when the site started calling the owner who was very cool and acting like I was some reporter or something. My only question was is the site really DO FOLLOW LOL
Bloggers group I we have on there so check it out I’m going to make an honest effort to spend more time on there.

I have been talking with “people” online since 1991.  Back then AOL was the spot .I don’t mean to rehash the same idea that I find so fascinating. No not why do people suck up to the WRONG people. But the fact that I’m NOT going to let it bother me anymore.
If you think about many of the well known people online and think about what their famous for it doesn’t impress me like other people I guess. Yeah you worked at Microsoft or Apple SO what ? You wrote some lame books alrighty then.
The point is if your so important you lack the respect to thank someone, respond or whatever then to me you DON’T impress me .The whole thing doesn’t make much sense. The point is that I do visit MANY blogs all day everyday, I read what people say and their responses. I don’t often get responses from people that I thought would have the decency to at least say ” Hey thanks”. The point is I don’t need to suck up to anyone. I don’t need to be bitter about all these lame ass GOOFS. I can be myself and do things the way I know is right. Whether people appreciate that or not is up to them. I knock, your to busy or to important to answer I won’t loose any sleep over it believe that.
I mention this because I’m working on somethings that will probably have my name out there and many people all of a sudden will have time to  talk. I don’t buy that . When I make it  I’m taking the REAL people I know with me.

     I just finished up a project I have been working on. If you ever tried to tackle some PHP then you will know the feeling. I wanted to share this PHPeditor once I got that badboy it was a rap.
Now everyone knows everything I’m about to say but doing it is another. I used to spend alot of time bookmarking and writing post targeting certain keywords for Google’s search engines and I got lazy It does pay to be on Google’s good side as I’m hoping with the next Google Page Rank update which will be soon. Today I was thinking about the person that doesn’t have the luxury of time like I do. What if I worked 40 hrs a week outside and had a normal life What would I do?

I would use the Zemanta Plugin. I would write about what I want to rank for. But often the Google’s search doesn’t make much sense so it’s all in fun anyway. For example I never write about POT but google Best blog about POT LOL

If your a fan of Linkin Park or Smashing Pumpkins you know that have some best lyrics and my IPOD is full with very few bands. The thing that I’m learning about life is no one wants to hear the truth. I know I don’t want to hear about how I should of done it this way or that cause I KNOW. The bottom line is it’s not my JOB to correct rude people’s behavior or rant about all the stupid people here in San Antonio cause they don’t realize their stupid, so why bother they don’t want to hear it.
I hate being stuck. I’m here for my son and to be honest I don’t do to well living on my own. I go into vampire mode and it’s usually not good. So I have to change , I have to learn to deal with the situation as it is today. I’m not as upset as I was last night and it’s sad that I continue to let what other people do and MAINLY DON’T do bother me as much as it does. Yes I just dissed San Antonio (again) I have lived in NC,NY,FL and meet and know many people I NEVER had these basic problems in other places so what gives ?  I still have YET to meet a Texan that has impressed me to be honest.(Bradley we haven’t meet )  I mean in REAL LIFE none except maybe my wife.Yeah I said it

Anyone who has blogged for a while knows that there are peaks and valleys in blogging ,  just like life itself. I have been visiting alot of well known blogs. Sometimes I wonder what is on the bloggers mind ? I think if you don’t have a clear direction of where your going it makes the whole experience more difficult then it should be.

To me blogging is fun and has been very good to me. I realized recently after going through a personal setback that I do have real friends that are/were there for me. If  I  “disappear” for a day I have a small totally awesome group of people that know something is up.  That to me is more important then page rank, all of my websites and even money. I’m going to use this blog as my personal blog. I’m going to continue to try my best to focus on the positive and help people to the best of my ability. The main point I’m trying to make and where I think that this blog is unique is that I do care about people, sometimes when I’m on a so called well known person’s blog I have the strongest impression that this person cares about one  thing  THEM To me that is a big turn off. Yes you may have thousands of followers, you may even have tons of success, money and prestige but to me if your not utilizing your gifts to help people then you ain’t shit
I know Bloggers are FAMOUS for NOT following instructions so please read this carefully

Life is often strange I can do so well for so long then the streets, stress, the longing for wilder days will catch me totally off guard.  I was just totally out of my mind  a few days ago. It seems February has always been  a jinx month for me.
Years ago when I lived in North Carolina I had my whole life straighten out for 2 1/2 yrs, February comes as my daughter is moving down to where I’m living with my family.I go right off the deep end hard. It took months for me to loose everything but that is just what I did, then ran to Key West.
My daughter’s birthday is March 3rd she will be 17  I have never been there for her since she was four. I ended up being a drug addict and drunk on and off over the years and put that in front of her a million times.
I can only guess that since I know 100% that she is my blood daughter that the hatred I have for myself keeps me from loving her. I do love her but I love myself also or so I say and think, but do I ?
I have to immediately regroup, thank GOD that I didn’t spend all my money those days I was running with the devil to say the least. So I will wired her some money. I got into it with her Mother after we been friends many years. I had to blame someone.
Two years ago in February down in  Key West Florida I had once again gained a great measure of success. I was happy so I thought I had everything I needed. In February after along period of soberiety I just went off the deep end once again. I left Key West on her Birthday to head north, made a bunch of crazy decisions, which had nothing to do with reality.
It’s scary when we build our mind up to a decision that WE KNOW will take us back to hell…
When I was downtown I was actually heading home after meeting with a great guy about renting a internet cafe downtown (see pic above )  I met some cool people and made a video and was in a great mood. Little did I know….
I’m just lucky not to be in jail or dead I’ll just say that about the whole experience. Why a

and reaching out to people. Last week I wrote what I thought was a
decent email to people and was disappointed by the response. I know
people are busy and I know first hand it’s hard to keep up with so many
friends. So I decided to make a few changes. I’m going to concentrate
on the people that I know and help them.

Well this was a very exciting week. I finally meet some people here in San Antonio involved in social media and it was very cool.
